Suffolk Age UK

Dear Clerk,

I am emailing you to ask if you will consider advertising our current volunteer vacancies (Dementia Advisor Assistants & Volunteer Administrators) within your newsletter and/or community notice board within Little Waldingfield Parish Council. I am able to write a short piece on each volunteer vacancy if you would prefer it in that format? I can also send suitable volunteer photos if you would like.

We are in desperate need of volunteers in a number of our services but mainly in our new Dementia Partnership (in partnership with Sue Ryder and Suffolk Family Carers). We are looking specifically for volunteers as Dementia Advisor Assistants who would volunteer in their local community, and Volunteer Part Time Administrators to assist us behind the scenes at our Head office in Claydon. (Role descriptions are below my signature in this email if you require this information)

We also have a number of other roles available across all of our services which operate Suffolk wide. I will also now email you a copy of our volunteer poster in a separate email for your consideration.

Your help in assisting us to raise the profile of our volunteer roles is greatly appreciated.

Please don't hesitate to come back to me if you have any questions or would like more information.

Kind regards,

Michelle Blom
