Neighbourhood Plan Public meeting – held by Zoom

Thursday 11 June 2020  5-6pm

 

Attended by Tim Sheppard (Chair); Jennie Jordan; Chris White; Richard Furlonger; Barbara Campbell and Ian Poole (Places for People) on behalf of the Neighbourhood Plan Steering Committee.

Two other people attended, and asked questions, as follows.

Question – Is the consultation 1 per household or 1 per household member.

Answer – Everyone is invited to fill in a response. More forms available from Barbara Campbell

 

2nd Guest – RW

Question 1 – Re section 10 -1

Should Church be added as asset – used for Coffee mornings, concerts etc.

Answer – Can look inti this but all such issues should be put down in the responses form so that they can be picked up and addressed formally as part of the consultation process.

Question 2 – Footpaths – should be represented as an asset.

Answer – Technically not included in plan as its more about built environment. Could potentially add importance of footpaths to written text and look at marked viewpoints.

Question 3 – Should Bus service be included.  New service from Bildeston 2 x weekly.

Answer – Will look into this.

Question 4 – Should have included reference to the ‘Climate Emergency’.

Answer – Wording says ‘Climate Crisis’.
