The Trinity House Story - A Talk by Captain Karl Lumbers
Dedicated to safeguarding shipping & seafarers, providing education, support & welfare to the seafaring community, and with a statutory duty as General Lighthouse Authority to deliver aids to navigation services for the benefit & safety of all mariners, Trinity House has a plethora of responsibilities.
After a distinguished career in the Merchant Navy and later in marine insurance, Karl is now a member of the Younger Brethren Ambassadors Group of Trinity House. He will recount the fascinating 500 year story of the Corporation of Trinity House since granting of its first Royal Charter by Henry VIII in 1514.
Definitely not one to be missed.
